1 John 2:23-25

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: [1 John 2:23-25 KJV] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life.

[1 John 2:22 KJV] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

[2 John 1:7 KJV] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Basically, those that deny Jesus are antichrists and do not also have the Father. By implication, they do not have His Holy Spirit as well. Basically, John was saying that these people are godless.

[1 John 4:15 KJV] Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

On the other hand, if you have Jesus then you have the Father and His Holy Spirit.

Verse 24 talks about the beginning. Beginning of what? Beginning of all things. God tells us who he is from the beginning.

[Psalm 19:1 KJV] [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

[Revelation 22:13 KJV] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

God is the beginning and all His works declare Him.

[Revelation 3:20 KJV] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

He comes to us and wants to be with us. Open the door of your heart and Let Him in.

We all have a job.

[Matthew 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

All of the disciples of Jesus are to spread His word and the gospel.

This is the gospel of Jesus: [1 Corinthians 15:1-6 KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
