Galatians 6:7-8

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Galatians 6:7-8

Verse Text: [Galatians 6:7-8 KJV] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

I have been watching a debate between three Christian men and three atheist men. The more I listen to the atheists the more I realize that their views mock God and are out and out blasphemy. Whether or not they know it they are sowing discord and hate and God will see to it that they reap what they sow. All they know is the flesh and they deny the spirit.

Based on their view, atheists have no justification for even their thought patterns or anything that they do. No God equals no justification for anything; they are just meaningless chemical processes blundering their way through a meaningless life with no hope of anything but death.

Deceived: πλανάω planáō, plan-ah'-o; from G4106; to (properly, cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue):—go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way.

When you are deceived then you are led astray and people that mock God have that goal in mind. Often the mockers will accuse the Christian of leading others astray.

It is our job to spread the gospel so that others, with the help of the Holy Spirit, may be led to the truth and may come to Jesus. To do this we must come fully to the Holy Spirit by fully believing that Jesus came in the flesh, died, and  was resurrected to defeat death for us so that we and those that came before us in Jesus may have eternal life; this is the message of the gospel. We must learn His word so that we can spread it to our neighbors. By doing this we sow the Spirit.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
