Genesis 20:4-6

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Genesis 20:4-6

Verse Text: [Gen 20:4-6 KJV] But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? Said he not unto me, She [is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He [is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

Examine these verses very carefully. What did God do? He caused Abimelech to not sin.

The takeaway here is amazingly simple; if we listen to His Holy Spirit, God will keep us from sinning. Unfortunately, many have ignored that voice for so long that it has become almost silent.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
