1 John 4:8-10

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: 1 John 4:8-10

Verse Text: [1Jo 4:8-10 KJV] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

Love: ἀγάπη agápē, ag-ah'-pay; from G25; love, i.e. affection or benevolence; specially (plural) a love-feast:—(feast of) charity(-ably), dear, love.

This is the love of God.

World: κόσμος kósmos, kos'-mos; probably from the base of G2865; orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration; by implication, the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively (morally)):—adorning, world.

In this case: Reborn.

Propitiation: ἱλασμός hilasmós, hil-as-mos'; atonement, i.e. (concretely) an expiator:—propitiation.

Isa 46:10 KJV - Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

God knows the end from the beginning. He already knows who among us will be reborn and who will reject Him. This is why the world spoken of in John 3:16 and in our verses today is limited to the reborn. The elect are only those that hear and do His word (live by Torah) and have faith in Jesus and the work He did on the cross. It may seem heartless for me to say this but all else do not matter.

[Mat 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

The baptism spoken of here is a baptism of His Holy Spirit. The reborn, the elect, are to go forth and baptize with His Holy Spirit and teach Torah as best as we can. Do not worry if the teaching takes or not; His Holy Spirit will do the rest.

Use any means at your disposal to spread His word. Pray that His Holy Spirit ignites a fire in all that hear you or read what you have written.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
