Romans 8:6

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Romans 8:6

Verse Text: [Romans 8:6 NKJV] 6 For to be carnally minded [is] death, but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.

Having a carnal mind is living in the world and having a spiritual mind is being born again.

As indicated yesterday:

[John 3:3 NKJV] 3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Being born again is a rebirth through the spirit. We are first born through water; the amniotic fluid of the womb then we receive and have faith in His word and are born of His Spirit. When this truly happens to us the ways of the world fall away, and His ways become our natural path.

Yesterday I was challenged on whether Isaiah was born again and the Pharisees were born again because they believed in a coming savior. Here is my reply:

[Romans 10:12-13 NKJV] 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

Greek is gentile.

To be saved is to be born again.

Isaiah was a prophet and touched by His Holy Spirit. Isaiah was also a Jew. He was born again.

If the Holy Spirit had truly touched the Pharisees then they would have been born again as I believe Nicodemus, a Pharisee, was. Paul was also a Pharisee and was reborn.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
