Psalms 138:3

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalms 138:3

Verse Text: [Psalm 138:3 NKJV] 3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me, [And] made me bold [with] strength in my soul.

Cry out: קָרָא qârâʼ, kaw-raw'; a primitive root (rather identical with H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met); to call out to (i.e. properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications):—bewray (self), that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim(-ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.

Bold with strength: confident.

Crying out to God is a form of prayer. When the Israelites were captive in Egypt they cried out to God. The martyrs under the throne cry out to God.

Most often when we cry out to God, we are at our wits end and just about to give up. We should not let our faith get so unraveled. No matter how bad the situation is, He will give us what we need to overcome if we walk with Him.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
