The Sabbath

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Isaiah 58:13-14

Title: The Sabbath

Verse Text: [Isaiah 58:13-14 NKJV] 13 "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, [From] doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy [day] of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking [your own] words, 14 Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the LORD has spoken."

If you go back to March 22, 2020 you will find that I have already done these verses; however, I think His Holy Spirit has a theme in mind here.

Yesterday I said that no servile work; that is, work that you get paid for, should be done on the Sabbath. Yes, we should not work on the Sabbath, but we also should not do whatever we want. Let His Holy Spirit lead you in what is good to do on the Sabbath.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
