Today’s Bible Verse: Genesis 1:20-23
Title: Day Five
Verse Text: [Genesis 1:20-23 NKJV] 20 Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens." 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that [it was] good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Day Five: Thursday.
[Genesis 1:20 NKJV] 20 Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens."
As in most of the days God tells us what He is going to do before He does it.
[Amos 3:7 NKJV] 7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
That is His way. He tells us what He is going to do before He does it.
[Genesis 1:21 NKJV] 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that [it was] good.
And now the sea is full of life and the air is full of life.
[Genesis 1:22 NKJV] 22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
He now blesses them so that they may remain abundant.
[Genesis 1:23 NKJV] 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
And Day Five comes to a close.
