Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Colossians 3:9-11
Title: The New Man
Verse Text: [Colossians 3:9-11 NKJV] 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new [man] who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave [nor] free, but Christ [is] all and in all.
Scythians were from modern day Russia. Strong’s says, “By the more civilized nations of antiquity the Scythians were regarded as the wildest of all barbarians.”
Barbarians, according to Strong’s is one who speaks a foreign or strange language which is not understood by another.
Greeks in a biblical sense are the gentiles.
The old man is the one of the world and the new man is the man that lives by Torah in love and in fellowship with Yahshua.
When we put on the new man through the action of His Holy spirit in us then it does not matter what we were before this. Let His Holy Spirit work in you and put on the new man; be reborn.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
