His Holy Spirit

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Luke 11:13

Title: His Holy Spirit

Verse Text: [Luke 11:13 NKJV] 13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

The philosophical question is, who is the Holy Spirit?

[Acts 2:1-4 NKJV] 1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and [one] sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

This is probably the verses most familiar to Christians regarding His Holy Spirit.

[John 14:16-21 NKJV] 16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- 17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. 19 "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 "At that day you will know that I [am] in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."

For me, His Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit of Yahshua. His Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and this is how Yahshua is manifested to us.

So, coming back to our verse:

[Luke 11:13 NKJV] 13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

All we need to do is pray, ask. I strongly believe that if you ask in faith then you will receive His blessing and His Holy Spirit will be sent to you to begin your rebirth in Him.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
