Today’s Bible Verse: Isaiah 51:3
Title: The LORD Comforts Zion
Verse Text: [Isaiah 51:3 NKJV] 3 For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
Zion is Jerusalem.
Comfort in Hebrew is nacham; it means to grieve over. Yahshua is grieved over Jerusalem and will restore Jerusalem in the New Jerusalem.
This is speaking of the time after the return of Yahshua when He brings down the New Jerusalem from heaven.
