Mark 5:8-13

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: [Mark 5:8-13 KJV] For he said unto him, Come out of the man, [thou] unclean spirit. And he asked him, What [is] thy name? And he answered, saying, My name [is] Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

In today’s verse I believe that the young man was being attacked in a spiritual sense. He was fortunate to have Jesus physically there to heal him from the attack.

[Matthew 28:19-20 KJV] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

We always have Jesus with us so that if we are attacked like the young man in Mark 5 then He can heal us from the attack.

[John 17:22-23 KJV] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

When we walk with Jesus He is in us and we are in Him.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
