Isaiah 52:7

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: [Isaiah 52:7 KJV] How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Mountains are kingdoms. Being upon the mountains means ruling over the earth.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; Jesus, rules now.

Those of a futurist eschatology will say no. This is OK and nothing to divide over. We are still brothers and sisters in Jesus.

Consider this:

[Matthew 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Power: ἐξουσία exousía, ex-oo-see'-ah; from G1832 (in the sense of ability); privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence:—authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

Authority, power, and mastery are in the Greek word. The Father has given Jesus reign over heaven and earth. This is exactly what Matthew 28:18 is telling us and since Matthew 28:18 happened after the resurrection, Jesus has been on the throne since then.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
