Isaiah 35:10

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: [Isaiah 35:10 KJV] And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Ransomed: פָּדָה pâdâh, paw-daw'; a primitive root; to sever, i.e. ransom; generally to release, preserve:—× at all, deliver, × by any means, ransom, (that are to be, let be) redeem(-ed), rescue, × surely.

Redeemed is also a good word. As we know, Jesus is our kinsman redeemer. As the gospel indicates, he paid the ransom price for us so that we may all have everlasting freedom.

Zion: צִיּוֹן Tsîyôwn, tsee-yone'; the same (regularly) as H6725; Tsijon (as a permanent capital), a mountain of Jerusalem:—Zion.

This is the new Jerusalem; God’s everlasting kingdom here on earth. After all of His enemies have been made His footstool this is where all the elect will be in everlasting life.

This is the gospel: [1 Corinthians 15:1-6 KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
