Psalms 5:11-12

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalms 5:11-12

Verse Text: [Psalm 5:11-12 KJV] But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as [with] a shield.

Trust: חָסָה châçâh, khaw-saw'; a primitive root; (compare H982) to flee for protection; figuratively, to confide in:—have hope, make refuge, (put) trust.

When you have trust in someone then you also have faith in them.

Name: שֵׁם shêm, shame; a primitive word [perhaps rather from H7760 through the idea of definite and conspicuous position; compare H8064]; an appellation, as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character:—+ base, (in-) fame(-ous), named(-d), renown, report.

The name of a person is not a verbal utterance it is their character.

When we have faith in the character of Jesus and do all He tells us to do then He will bless us.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
