Peace to you my brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Ephesians 4:4-6
Verse Text: [Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV] [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as
ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.
Let’s break this down.
[Ephesians 4:4 KJV] [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called
in one hope of your calling;
One body or, as it is preached today, one church.
Church: ἐκκλησία ekklēsía, ek-klay-see'-ah; from a compound of G1537 and a
derivative of G2564; a calling out, i.e. (concretely) a popular meeting,
especially a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Christian community
of members on earth or saints in heaven or both):—assembly, church.
Modern thinking wants to make church one big body that replaced Israel;
however, that is not the case. Ecclesia is actually an assembly of Israel and
we are Israel. We have not replaced Israel of the Old Testament, we have been
grafted into Israel and continued Israel.
Right now the assemblies of Israel are not all on the same page; however, with
the guidance of His Holy Spirit they will become one; that is, of one understanding.
[Ephesians 4:5 KJV] One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Jesus is our Lord and our faith in Him is that we hear and do His commandments
as our show of love for Him and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that he came
in the flesh, suffered, died, and rose again to defeat the final enemy, death.
Our one baptism is the baptism of His Holy Spirit that will cause our rebirth
into His church.
[John 3:5 KJV] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
All are born of water; that is the amniotic fluid from which we come in our
mother’s womb. The baptism of His Holy Spirit causes one to be reborn.
[Ephesians 4:6 KJV] One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through
all, and in you all.
Above all things there is God the Father. He lives above all things in
eternity.
[John 14:9-10 KJV] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and
yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;
and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in
the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not
of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
[John 1:1-3 KJV] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made
by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Our Father does all things through Jesus, His Son. Jesus is the God of Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob.
[Exodus 33:22-23 KJV] And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by,
that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand
while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back
parts: but my face shall not be seen.
Our Father is pure spirit and not visible to us but Jesus can be visible to us
and Our Father does all things through Jesus.
Are the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit three separate entities? I was taught this,
and I see nothing to refute it. I also know that they act together as one.
I see His Holy Spirit guiding His church, the body of Israel, into one accord
so that all be made subject to Jesus. Through the guidance of His Holy Spirit,
His church will make the enemies of Jesus the footstool of Jesus.
[Psalm 110:1 KJV] [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at
my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
When this happens Jesus will return and the resurrection, rapture, if you will,
will happen.
And now it is time for us to do the work of His church, body of Israel. We must
not sit on our hands waiting for the rapture.
Assume that the rapture is delayed. This means that we must get off our hands
and get active in the world to make it better as guided by His Holy Spirit. There are so many things
that we can do but we must use the skills given us by God; that is why we have
them. Use your skills to create a spiritual revolution.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk
Torah-ly. Peace.
