1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Verse Text: [1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV] 4 Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

I did this same set of verses 495 days ago on Saturday, February 23, 2019, but, that’s OK. I use a website that picks random verses. Since we know that there is nothing random about our universe the God wants me to look at this again. I will not go back and look at what I said before.

Love here is agape; unconditional love, and the characteristics of unconditional love are listed.

We’ve all heard the statement love is patient, love is kind, and so forth. Well, unconditional love is and that is how God is with us. He is patient, He is kind, and He does all things in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 for those of us that love Him back. I know that many of you know what I mean by loving Him back but I am going to list the verse anyway:

[John 14:15 NKJV] 15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

This means that we must live by Torah and it is not a hard thing to do. I know that many have gotten use to the ways of the world and you feel comfortable living that life but the ways of Torah are more comfortable because you are then walking with Him and letting His Holy Spirit lead you.

It is not a hard thing to show your love for Him.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
