Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Mark 10:47-52
Verse Text: [Mark 10:47-52 NKJV] 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you." 50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51 So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." 52 Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
This man was physically blind and received physical sight from Yahshua because of His faith; but, if you will notice, the man followed Yahshua. I believe this man became a disciple and also received spiritual sight.
As I said yesterday, most of the world lives under the law; that is, under the punishment of death by the law. Most of the world, particularly mainstream Christianity does not walk in the law because they believe that the law has been done away with. Thus, most of the world lives in spiritual blindness.
[Acts 9:17-18 NKJV] 17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." 18 Immediately there fell from his eyes [something] like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
For a time Paul was physically blind also and then received his sight back but I also believe the scales that fell from his eyes were the scales of spiritual blindness.
Are you spiritually blind? You can receive your spiritual sight by letting His Holy Spirit guide you through His word. Do this and receive your sight.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
