Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 1:8-10
Verse Text: [2 Timothy 1:8-10 NKJV] 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called [us] with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, [who] has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
Prisoner in Greek is de's-me-os. It is more of a bond servant. Paul considered himself a bond servant to Yahshua as did most of His disciples. If you are doing your best to walk in His ways then you are His bond servant because you realize that He paid the redemption price for you and that makes Him your master.
There is nothing wrong with being a bond servant. We were in debt and Yahshua paid that debt for us and now we work for Him.
The work is not hard; live by Torah, walk as He walks, spread the gospel. Spark a revival of His word throughout the world.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
