2 Thessalonians 3:13

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Verse Text: [2 Thessalonians 3:13 NKJV] 13 But [as for] you, brethren, do not grow weary [in] doing good.

How does the Bible define doing good?

Yahshua did good by teaching, healing, feeding, and comforting people. Using Him as our example, we are called to meet the needs of others, including those that hate us.

[Matthew 5:44-45 NKJV] 44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

[Galatians 6:10 NKJV] 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

[Hebrews 13:16 NKJV] 16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

We are also to do good to fellow believers so that persecution, selfishness, and busyness not cause them to forget to do good and share what they have with others.

We should ask ourselves each day, “What good thing can I do today in the name of Yahshua?”

[Matthew 5:16 NKJV] 16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

As to specifics, let His Holy Spirit guide you.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
