Today’s Bible Verse: Deuteronomy 8:11
Verse Text: [Deuteronomy 8:11 NKJV] 11 "Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today,
Commandments in Hebrew is mits·vä'. It is the law; Torah.
Judgements in Hebrew is mish·pät'. These are His verdicts.
Statutes in Hebrew is khük·kä'. These are His everlasting laws such as the dietary laws and the feasts.
Taken together when we live by Torah, remember the judgements or verdicts God has given for transgressing the law, and remember those parts of Torah that have been given as everlasting then we will not forget God.
Don’t let God slip out of your life.
[John 14:15 NKJV] 15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Show Him that you love Him.
