Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: 1 Samuel 15:22
Verse Text: [1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV] 22 So Samuel said: "Has the LORD [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, [And] to heed than the fat of rams.
Where is the sacrifice today? It ended in 70 AD with the destruction of the temple.
The sacrifice in the temple was a temporary measure until the true sacrifice could happen through the death and rising of Yahshua.
[Matthew 24:34 NKJV] 34 "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
And this came to pass because some 40 years after His death and resurrection, in 70 AD, the temple was destroyed and Jerusalem sacked.
So, what do we do now? As Samuel told us, obey the voice of the Lord. Keep His commandments and follow His path. Show your love for Him by living by Torah as He does.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
