Daniel 9:27

Let us look at this with new eyes:

[Daniel 9:27 NKJV] 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."

How many days are in a week? Easy, seven.

[2 Peter 3:8 NKJV] 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day [is] as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

So, let us consider that the timeline of earth is one week of one thousand year days for a total of seven thousand years.

And, what is the covenant?

[Genesis 3:15 NKJV] 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."

Basically, the covenant was that man fell by breaking the conditional covenant that man shall not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge and God would send a redeemer. This covenant was confirmed by Yahshua coming as the suffering servant and will be completely fulfilled when He returns.

When was the sacrifice and offering ended? Seventy AD when the temple was destroyed by Rome. The actual destruction by heathens was the abomination of desolation.

If the destruction of the temple was the middle of the week, the week of seven thousand years, then that means that three thousand five hundred years had transpired before then and that three thousand five hundred years were left to go.

With all of the above in mind, His return would then be in the year 3570. Plenty of time to spread His gospel.
