Judgement

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Luke 6:37

Title: Judgement

Verse Text: [Luke 6:37 NKJV] 37 "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

I have done something on this before but have had some new insights from His holy Spirit.

Before I indicated that this was not talking about righteous judgement but deeper study indicates that it should be more of righteous rebuking. We should not judge at all.

Judgement in the Hebrew sense is actually placing a sentence of guilt or not on a person. We do not have that right until this:

[Revelation 20:4 NKJV] 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then [I saw] the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received [his] mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

But only those that have been beheaded for their witness to Yahshua and the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark of the beast on their foreheads or on their hands will have the right to judge.

This is very difficult, I know. We want to condemn those that we know are wrong, but this is not our job. Our job is to rebuke, in love, and correct.

And, suppose a person does not wish to receive our correction?

[Mark 6:11 NKJV] 11 "And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!"

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
