Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 138:7-8
Title: His Ways
Verse Text: [Psalm 138:7-8 NKJV] 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. 8 The LORD will perfect [that which] concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, [endures] forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
[Psalm 110:1 NKJV] 1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
Yahshua sits at the right and of the Father and the person that sits at anyone’s right hand is referred to as their right hand, so, Yahshua is the right hand of the Father.
Verse seven says that the right hand of the Father, Yahshua, will save us. By dying and rising He has defeated death and become the salvation of all that will have faith in Him and walk in His ways.
[John 14:16-17 NKJV] 16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- 17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
The helper promised here is the Holy Spirit of the Father. His Holy Spirit is with us and it is through His Holy Spirit that we are perfected.
But, note that verse eight says “that which concerns me”. This caveat means only those that have faith in Yahshua and walk in His ways.
[Psalm 119:26 NKJV] 26 I have declared my ways, and You answered me; Teach me Your statutes.
[Proverbs 8:32 NKJV] 32 "Now therefore, listen to me, [my] children, For blessed [are those who] keep my ways.
[Proverbs 23:26 NKJV] 26 My son, give me your heart, And let your eyes observe my ways.
What are His ways? We find them in the Tanakh; the Old Testament. They are are His commandments and if we live by them and walk in the ways of Yahshua then we will have life everlasting. We will see this:
[1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV] 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
As for everybody else:
[Isaiah 55:8 NKJV] 8 "For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD.
But this can be fixed. Confess your sin, repent of your sin, ask Yahshua for forgiveness, have faith that He died and rose for you to live, and live by His commandments.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
