Shalom brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Romans 6:14
Title: Under the Law?
Verse Text: [Romans 6:14 NKJV] 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Under in the Greek and Hebrew means to be placed below or made subject to.
There are many that tell us that Paul was saying in these verses in which he says under law or under the law that we are no longer subject to Torah, but, they could not be further from the truth and they are leading many to the second death.
Because Yahshua suffered and died for us we are no longer under the punishment of Torah; the second death. We may die physically but we will not die spiritually and we will be part of this:
[1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV] 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore, live by His Torah as He does.
[John 14:15 NKJV] 15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Live by His Torah in love and see the resurrection of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
