Faith

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Isaiah 26:4

Title: Faith

Verse Text: [Isaiah 26:4 NKJV] 4 Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength.

Trust is such a human word; faith is better. Have faith in Yahshua forever.

Hebrews eleven begins:

[Hebrews 11:1 NKJV] 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Then Hebrews eleven lists people of faith; Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah. There are many more in the pages of the Bible; look to Genesis five and the list of His disciples in the New Testament for more examples.

All of these people did two things; they heard His word and they did His word and that is the definition of faith; hearing and doing His word.

Hearing His word; that is, a mental acknowledgement of it is only half; you have to do His word. One can say, “I have faith in that chair”, but if you don’t actually sit in it then you have nothing.

So, have faith in Yahshua forever; always hear and do His word.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
