Peace to you my brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: [Psalm 138:7-8 KJV] Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of
mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. The LORD will perfect [that
which] concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, [endureth] for ever: forsake not the
works of thine own hands.
Who is the right hand of the Father? Jesus.
[Psalm 110:1 KJV] [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at
my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
[Matthew 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is
given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
He rules and reigns at the right hands of the Father and he commands us to go
to all the nations and teach them His law and preach the gospel to them.
Nations: ἔθνος éthnos, eth'-nos; probably from G1486; a race (as of the same
habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by
implication, pagan):—Gentile, heathen, nation, people.
Ethnos is where we get ethnicity from. Many call these races but there is only
one race on the planet: the human race. No, if you must, tribes of the same race
would be a better description.
Our job is to preach His word and the gospel to all the world. Once we have
done that it is the job of the Holy Spirit to bring Jesus to them and baptize
them.
In our verses today it says that the right hand of the Father will save us. I
have already told you that His right hand is Jesus.
Salvation: יְשׁוּעָה yᵉshûwʻâh, yesh-oo'-aw; feminine passive participle of
H3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory,
prosperity:—deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health),
welfare.
In the Greek the Hebrew word for salvation has been transliterated into Jesus.
He is our salvation. His mercy is on His elect; His church; those that have
recognized that He has come to them and turned to Him.
Now go and spread His word and the gospel. Pray that the Holy Spirit helps the
seed you plant grow.
This is the gospel: [1 Corinthians 15:1-6 KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare
unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and
wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I
preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you
first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of
the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
