1 Corinthians 14:33

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: [1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV] For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

To the women, please read all of this. The emancipated will not like this but they need to hear it.

It is interesting that the next verse is this:

[1 Corinthians 14:34-35 KJV] Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

And we see Timothy say:

[1 Timothy 2:12-14 KJV] But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

This is not an attack against women in scripture. Consider this:

[Proverbs 31:10-31 KJV] Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing [is] silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth [it]; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

This is not a barefoot and pregnant argument. Women are to be partners with their husbands.

[Proverbs 31:26 KJV] She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.

Her counsel should always be considered by her husband.

[Proverbs 31:16 KJV] She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

The proceeds from her work at home while taking care of the family go to buying land for the family.

God has given us a family unit. The man performs the labor to bring in the major income. His wife takes care of the home and that includes rearing children, including their education. But, looking at the verses above, a man is nothing without a strong woman behind him.

[Genesis 3:1-6 KJV] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And this is why women are not to teach. Eve let herself be deceived regarding the word of God. Yes, Adam was standing right there and should have seen her struggle and should have stopped her when she reached for the fruit. Adam’s lack of action was the first sin but Eve’s failure to ask Adam before taking action was the second.

This does not mean that women cannot be an active part of Bible studies. Be there. Learn. Ask questions. This is how we all learn through the Holy Spirit.

This does not mean that women cannot have an active part in a church service; just not a teaching part.

it also does not preclude women from teaching other things.

Today’s society is destroying the family unit which is, at its smallest, a man and a woman as husband and wife. As Jesus’ disciples we need to change that and get true disciples into political office to reverse this trend.

The left is advancing the Marxist agenda which has failed in so many countries in this fallen world. Sanger was a Marxist and a eugenicist; her idea of body freedom for women includes the wholesale genocide of people of color.

All of the disciples of Jesus need to return to the morality of the Bible and return that morality to society. The United States was built on that morality and it has been slipping away from us and destroying the United States in the process. Reverse the process.

I said in a post elsewhere that if I had my way we’d roll back the constitution to the Bill of Rights, take all of the laws off the books since then, and rebuild the government with a weak central government and strong state governments; as it should have been.

We all have a job.

[Matthew 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

All of the disciples of Jesus are to spread His word and the gospel.
And ladies, spreading the word and gospel is not teaching.

This is the gospel: [1 Corinthians 15:1-6 KJV] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Peace.
