Today’s Bible Verse: Colossians 3:17
Verse Text: [Colossians 3:17 KJV] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do]
all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
If you look back a few verses you will see:
[Colossians 3:9-10 KJV] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the
old man with his deeds; And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in
knowledge after the image of him that created him:
So we are talking about whatever we do in word or deed as a reborn person; that
we do in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to Jesus and Our Father by Jesus.
