Peace to you my brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Verse Text: [1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV] Pray without ceasing.
Without ceasing: ἀδιαλείπτως adialeíptōs, ad-ee-al-ipe'-toce; adverb from G88;
uninterruptedly, i.e. without omission (on an appropriate occasion):—without
ceasing.
These are the verses that contain G89; without ceasing:
[Romans 1:9 KJV] For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the
gospel of his Son, that without ceasing[G89] I make mention of you always in my
prayers;
[1 Thessalonians 1:3 KJV] Remembering without ceasing[G89] your work of faith,
and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight
of God and our Father;
[1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV] For this cause also thank we God without
ceasing,[G89] because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us,
ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of
God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
In other words, the context is always on my mind.
Does this mean that every thought should be this way? No, but every opportunity
should be taken to thank Him, praise Him, exalt Him.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk
Torah-ly. Peace.
