Peace to you my brothers and sisters.
Today’s Bible Verse: Proverbs 16:32
Verse Text: [Pro 16:32 NKJV] [He who is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Anger is one of the biggest problems in the world today. No wonder with social media and the media in general stirring the pot all the time. Looking at the situations in the world today and all the speculation and gossip on what may or may not be happening is it any wonder that more people aren’t taking to the streets?
Now, notice I used the words speculation and gossip. That honestly is what most of it is. I really wonder if there is not only 5% truth in all you hear from the media and social media. As a matter of fact, yesterday a teacher I really like started buying into all the nonsense and put out a video on it.
Here is what we really need to keep in mind:
[Psa 110:1 KJV] [[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
What does this tell us? Jesus is on the throne with the Father and Jesus is in charge. Through His Holy Spirit and His church, He is making His enemies His footstool. We need to stop buying into the negativity of the modern church, the media, and social media and buying into the positive of the gospel and that is that God is in charge.
[Mat 28:18-20 KJV] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
All power was given to Jesus at His rising. He rules with the Father and He has given us a job to teach all nations His ways and allow His Holy Spirit to baptize them. We can’t do that while paying attention to all the nonsense in the news and social media. We can’t do that if we let all this nonsense get us angry.
Rule your spirit and take cities. As you take cities, you will take nations. Take on the great commission given you by Jesus.
Go forth and spread this good news.
I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
