Luke 2:13-15

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Luke 2:13-15

Verse Text: [Luk 2:13-15 KJV] And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

For everything there is a purpose. Why was Jesus born in Bethlehem? Because that is where the lambs that were used for the temple sacrifices, the Passover in particular, where born and raised. Around the city were sheep pens and birthing places for the sheep and it was in one of those birthing places in which our Savior was born.

As we know, God is no respecter of persons so it is very appropriate that the announcement of the birth of Jesus would come to what many would say are the lowliest of people first.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Peace.
