Hebrews 12:1-2

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Hebrews 12:1-2

Verse Text: [Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV] 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares [us], and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We are surrounded by witnesses everyday and we must show them what it really means to be a Christian. We must show them what it truly looks like to walk in the path of Yahshua and live by Torah. To do this we must set aside our carnal side and present the reborn.

The other point of these verses is that there is another race in this world; the race of faith. If we run this race and reach the finish line then all the other nonsense of this world can be set aside and we can get about the task of making His enemies his footstool.

Yahshua endured the cross for us. Can we do less for Him?

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
