Psalms 18:32

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: Psalms 18:32

Verse Text: [Psalm 18:32 NKJV] 32 [It is] God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.

In the KJV it says “It is God That girdeth”. Gird in Hebrew is 'azar and when one girds oneself it means to make themselves stronger.

When the Hebrews girded their loins they would take the part of their robe below their waist and pull it up between their legs and tie it around their hips. This gave them more freedom of movement so that they could easily run into battle. This made them a stronger force. In our case, because we have become members of His family, God makes us strong and through His Holy Spirit, makes His ways our ways and, thus, makes our ways perfect.

Go forth and spread this good news.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
