Today’s Bible Verse: Isaiah 2:2-5
Verse Text: [Isaiah 2:2-5 NKJV] 2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days [That] the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. 3 Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore. 5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the LORD.
House in Hebrew is bayith. Among its definitions is family and I believe that is the appropriate usage here.
The question then is, are you part of the family of God? If you live by His word and you have faith that Yahshua lived, suffered, died, and was resurrected to bring the end to our punishment for our sin, then you are.
If you are part of His family then His Holy Spirit has been sent to you to teach you His ways and walk His paths. His Holy Spirit will lead you through His word and give you understanding.
[Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV] 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.
The understanding imparted to you by His Holy Spirit will help you make disciples of the nations. None of the other nonsense of the world will matter.
[Isaiah 2:4 NKJV] 4 He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
With the spreading of His word to the four corners of the earth His word will be the judge and through His word many will be rebuked by His holy Spirit. His Holy Spirit will turn many away from the ways of sin.
We now have a unique opportunity, more than any time in history, to spread the gospel. We have a worldwide communication network at our fingertips. Use it to spread His word.
[Psalm 110:1 NKJV] 1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
Spreading His word will make His enemies His footstool.
Go forth and spread this good news.
