Exhortations and Blessing

Shalom brothers and sisters.

Today’s Bible Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:21-23

Title: Exhortations and Blessing

Verse Text: [1 Thessalonians 5:21-23 NKJV] 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil. 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[1 Thessalonians 5:21 NKJV] 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.

Basically, be a Berean.

[Acts 17:10-11 NKJV] 10 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily [to find out] whether these things were so.

They tested Paul’s word against scripture.

This does not mean chew up the meat and spit out the bones as one false teacher puts it. All of it must match or it is worthless.

When you find a teaching that matches with scripture, keep it and go back to it time and time again.

[1 Thessalonians 5:22 NKJV] 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

What is evil? Anything that goes against God’s word.

[1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV] 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please help us all to get there dear Yahshua. Send Your Holy Spirit on us all.

I hope this has been a blessing to you. May the rest of your day be blessed. Walk Torah-ly. Shalom.
