Today’s Bible Verse: Psalm 127:3
Title: Children
Verse Text: [Psalm 127:3 NKJV] 3 Behold, children [are] a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
Our verse says that children are a heritage which in Hebrew means an inheritance. God gives them to us as a blessing, reward, and as a fulfillment of the covenant He made with Abraham.
It is the job of the parents to be the guardian of their children until they can make their way in the world by themselves and to teach them the ways of God through His holy scripture.
The world has made this task very difficult in regard to single parents and in situations in which both parents must work. This is where we that have no children may be able to help by setting up after school Bible study programs for latchkey children.
