Title: HE MUST KNOW US!

Today’s Bible Verse: [Matthew 16:25 ESV] 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Rebirth means dying to self; that is, the world in us dies.

[Matthew 16:24 ESV] 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

The cross is an instrument of death and some of the reborn will see physical death through persecution.

Today’s church teaches that all one has to do is believe and that brings salvation but that is not true. There will be many self-proclaimed believers in hell.

[Matthew 7:22-23 ESV] 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

We can proclaim that we know Jesus all day long and do many works in His name but in the end HE MUST KNOW US! This knowledge comes from the grace of God; He touches our heart and we have a heart change called rebirth.

Faith is given to His elect by God. Faith is the overwhelming belief in God; it is not head knowledge, it is a deep down in your soul belief that God is your creator and your means of salvation from His wrath due to the fall. This faith was given to His elect from before creation. We have it for His glory.

Through our faith we know that Jesus died for us, and we have justification through Him. This justification means that our sin is covered with the blood of Jesus and, though we may die physically, we are not dead spiritually and will be resurrected into everlasting life when Jesus returns.

It is the elect that have salvation and it is my prayer that you are among the elect and that this serves as your catalyst for awakening.

Today’s Bible Verse: [Luke 6:43-45 ESV] 43 "For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, 44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 45 The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Heart: καρδία kardía, kar-dee'-ah; prolonged from a primary κάρ kár (Latin cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle:—(+ broken-)heart(-ed).

It was believed at the time of the writing of this passage that wisdom and thought came from the heart, not the brain. That is why God causes a heart change in rebirth.

When our heart changes, our action changes and we produce works based on that heart change.

The Will Of The Father

Title: The Will Of The Father

Today’s Bible Verse: [John 6:37-40 ESV] 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."

The Father gives grace to whom He will. Those that receive His grace have a heart change and are reborn. The Father gives the reborn to the Son, Jesus.

The reborn have been given to Jesus and He has washed them in His blood. Once reborn a person will not lose their salvation because Jesus promises that He will never cast them out.

In verse 38 Jesus explains that He has come to do the Father’s will, not His own because His will and the Father’s will are the same.

Verse 39 is a repetition of the promise given in verse 37. In Calvinism this is called the preservation of the saints; that is, once salvation has been given by grace it cannot be lost.

Verse 40 explains that anyone that Believes in Jesus, that is, believes that He is who He said He is; God, will be resurrected into eternal life on the last day. So, how is it that those that are reborn come to believe in Jesus? This point in Calvinism is called Irresistible Grace; that is, once God has given you grace then there is nothing that you can do to resist your belief in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The reborn willingly accept this belief not because they are forced to but because they choose to.

Fallen Man

Today’s Bible Verse: [James 4:1-3 ESV] 1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? 2 You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

Man comes into this world in total depravity; man comes in hating God and His law. Man comes in as a covetous creature; always keeping up with the Jones’, so to speak, because we covet what our neighbor has.

God promises to give us what we need, not what we want. We need air, clothing, shelter, food, and water; anything else is excess and he does give that to some in stewardship for the poor.

God does not tell us to not ask. As a matter of fact, He wants us to be persistent in asking but we must ask for the right reasons. What we ask for must glorify Him. For example, if we are asking for excess then we must use it to make disciples of the nations and not for the hot new car.

Today’s Bible Verse: [Isaiah 5:21 ESV] 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!

The world is full of people that think themselves wise and discerning, shrewd. King Solomon was given wisdom and discernment above all men before him and after him and yet he fell away. Worldly wisdom and discernment is nothing. True wisdom and discernment comes from the Holy Spirit.

Blessed Are Those That Hear The Word And Keep it

Title: Blessed Are Those That Hear The Word And Keep it

Today’s Bible Verse: [Luke 11:27-28 ESV] 27 As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!" 28 But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

Does this mean that Mary was not blessed? No, she did hear the word of God and kept it. It is for this reason that she is blessed and not for having the privilege of bearing Jesus.

Only when God touches our heart are we able to truly hear the word of God and keep it. Rebirth is a blessing.

There are many that say that they have heard His word; there are many self-proclaimed Christians. But do they stand the test; what is their fruit? Not until God touches a person’s heart does a heart change happen.

Only until every governing authority recognizes the authority and power of Jesus will all the atrocities of this world end. He is the king of heaven and earth and I know it. I spread His word in His name as does all the reborn.

Preach The Word

Today’s Bible Verse: [2 Timothy 4:3-5 ESV] 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

What is the ministry of the reborn?

Make disciples of all the nations!

Will we be able to get everyone? 2 Timothy 4:3-5 tells us that we will not because some will stay in total depravity living by the world instead of by the Word. Regardless, we are to endure in our ministry.

Matthew 28:18-20 came directly from the very lips of Jesus, God, after His resurrection.

I know that there are many in this world that do not believe that Jesus is God. Well, only God can forgive sin and that is why Jesus became flesh, suffered, died on the cross, and was resurrected; He did that to forgive the sins of the reborn. I have no doubt that He is God and I pray that He touches the heart of as many of the unbelievers reading this as possible before they die.
